"One, If By Land" Publishing, Inc. is an independent company specializing in information distribution, marketing and publishing. Our aim is to furnish vision and direction in order to facilitate results for our clients.
Hello. My name is George Evers. I am the President of "One, If By Land" Publishing, Inc. and live in Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey with my wife and son and daughter. We're an average working family. With baseball, soccer, school activities, dance lessons, ect. that's a full time job. We're plugged into our church, Grace - the Church on the Mount in Netcong, stay active with our family, friends and neighbors. Since my name is not "The Donald," "Bradley,"or "Forbes", I have to tell you a little about myself so you can be confident that:
- I have your best interest at heart
- I am who I say I am
- I have a background in the business
- I will not use your information in an unprofessional manner.
With this in mind, knowing the faceless nature of the Internet and even the occasional misrepresentations given on the web, I'll give you my background and enough links to check me out thoroughly.
I grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Morris Hills Regional High School, Rockaway, NJ (Tel: 973-625-5463) and joined the US Marine Corps (October 1962 - October 1970) earning an honorable discharge (http://members.tripod.com/~Old Corps/locator.html). I entered Fairleigh Dickerson University, NJ Madison Campus (Tel:973-443-8500 ) then transferred to El Camino Community College (16007 Crenshaw Blvd. Torrance, CA 90506, tel. 310-532-3670, www.elcamino.cc.ca.us). Upon graduation I transferred to the University of California at Long Beach (School of Business) where I earned a BS in Finance (see CSLUB alumni records for 1970 at www.csulb.edu).
In California I worked for US Steel Corporation as an entry level financial analyst for a few years but, for various personal reasons, returned to New Jersey. After a brief stint publishing a weekly paper, I became an advertising manager for a larger circulation weekly paper, which subsequently went out of business. I then found work as a carpenter and learned the construction trade. As time progressed, my brother and I became involved in bidding work specializing in residential and commercial construction. Our commercial construction work took us throughout the Eastern half of the United States, however, we both gave up the traveling, started families and found our work through a local union hiring hall.
In 1991, I became a real estate appraiser and in the ensuing years, worked for various mortgage companies, developing a strong repeat referral business. I also specialized in pursuing Residential Tax Appeals for certain clients. Mostly all of the municipal tax appeals were won. In the interim I had completed various construction, real estate and appraisal courses from institutions such as The Associated General Contractors of America, Joseph J D'Aries Carpenters Training Center, American School of Business, Professional School of Business, Bell South Media Training Center and National Association of Real Estate Appraisers. I hold a CREA- Certified Real Estate Appraiser designation as well as an active NJ Real Estate License.
Although I hold a real estate license, I don't sell. I refer potential listings to the best proven agent in your area. You see, I know the secret of where to look for the best agents. The company I'm associated with has a database of proven professionals throughout the United States. They've been in business for over 20 years, have vast experience and direct information to link you to expert, full-time, top producing Real Estate agents throughout the US. Most important, they have access to the best agent in the area you live in or the area in which you want to live in. Already, I have connected several acquaintances with this service and have been pleasantly dumbfounded by the results. In one instance, a friend sold his home and bought another within 2 weeks and that was in a poor market!
This is such a good service that I decided to make it available to those interested by using the Internet. Really, this service is the only intelligent way to choose an agent, unless you already personally know the best one in your area. With that in mind, I took HTML classes at a local school, read the right books and am learning PERL 5, the CGI programing language (a head-banging experience!). So there you have it.
Our philosophy is that the best real estate service is found in providing customers information that places them in contact with the top producing agent in order that they get quick satisfactory results. Not only are top producing agents more efficient, they are more organized, more apt to be mistake free, friendlier and have proven themselves by getting results. This gives you the advantage by choosing this proven "result getter," someone who graduated from the learning curve.
As a bridge between you, the customer, and top producing agents, this service can provide you a new, more efficient method to get the results you need. My purpose is to provide that information. Click here to apply for this free service.
